Good and Bad PR

Good:
American Remember Sept. 11 by Serving
I thought this was a good press release because I didn't feel like anyone was trying to sell me on any organization or event. It was just an informational story about what Americans were doing to commemorate September 11.

15-Year-Old Boy with Autism Wandered to Boston's Subway System; Rescued by MBTA Transit Police Using SafetyNet by LoJack System
This was a cool one because it talks about a child being saved, which is something that will hold the majority of people's interest. It does this while also getting that name of the orgaanizations who rescued him out there.

Bad:
U-Haul Is Offering 30 Days of Free Storage and U-Box Portable Storage to Central and Eastern Pennsylvania Flood Victims Starting the headline off with the word U-haul makes me think les about their good deed and more about their self-proclaimed heroism.

DG3 Receives Award for Exceptional Quality From the Gold Ink Awards Competition I thought this was a bad press release because it didn't capture my interest in any way. It had a few sentences explaining the award and why it was won, but then it just went into a long rant about the company that sounds more like an advertisement than an announcement.
