Sutton, Vt.-- To benefit Umbrella during Domestic Violence Awareness month, Tara Lynn Scheidet is hosting an open house and raffle for Tara Lynn Bridal.
"This event will be a chance for me to show people my unique organically made dresses and open the doors to my new studio, while benefiting an organization that is as important and helpful to the community as Umbrella," said Scheidet.
The prizes for the raffle include a ring pillow valued at $110, a veil valued at $300, and a gift certificate up to $500. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Umbrella, an organization in the northeast kingdom which helps prevent sexual and domestic violence.
Scheidet has been creating 10 to 15 hand-made organic dresses per year since 1999 and the opening of her new studio could be the mark of more good years.
This open house will be hosted on October 9th from 1:00 to 6:00 pm, at Scheidet's new studio on 935 Route 5, Sutton, Vt. Refreshments will be served.
Good lead.
ReplyDeleteNortheast Kingdom is capitalized.
This line needs attribution if you want to keep it at all: "the opening of her new studio could be the mark of more good years." It's an opinion.
